Wedding Travel & Accommodation Information
Planning Your Arrival in Paris
Are you planning to explore Paris before the wedding? We recommend flying into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) on either Monday, June 9, or Tuesday, June 10.
Before booking your flight, we would love to help coordinate arrival times so we can meet everyone at the airport around the same time. If that’s not possible for you, don’t worry—we can provide detailed instructions on transportation into Paris.
Most of us will be heading south by train to Provence via Avignon on Thursday, June 12. You can find information about train schedules and tickets at SNCF Connect.
Exploring Provence & Surrounding Areas
Lacoste
If you’d like to visit the lovely village where Aleyna studied in college and still frequents as a guest artist twice a year, take a 45-minute drive to Lacoste. It’s a charming hilltop town with beautiful views and rich artistic history.
Gordes & Roussillon
Less than an hour from the wedding venue, you’ll find two of the most breathtaking Provençal villages:
Gordes: A stunning hilltop village with stone houses and incredible panoramic views.
Roussillon: Famous for its vibrant ochre cliffs and charming streets.
Lavender Fields
Provence is world-famous for its lavender fields, which bloom from mid-June through August. If you’re renting a car, consider exploring these beautiful landscapes.
Cassis & The Mediterranean
Want to dip your toes in the Mediterranean Sea? Cassis is just a one-hour drive from the wedding venue and offers stunning coastal views, boat tours, and beaches.
How to get to the venue
Accommodation
Our goal is to find accommodations close to the wedding venue from June 12 to June 17. There are many vacation rentals and hotels in the area, with a variety of price ranges. We are happy to help coordinate the type of stay you prefer, including house-sharing options.
If you’d like a vacation rental, please let us know as soon as possible, as these book up quickly. Also, keep in mind that air conditioning is rare in the South of France, so we highly recommend finding a place with a pool to stay cool in the summer heat.
