was born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1997 and lived her whole childhood there. She was drawing by the age of 3 and in 2015 decided to pursue a degree at The Savannah College of Art and Design. During her junior year, she studied abroad in Lacoste, a small town in the Vaucluse in France, and fell in love with the country. She swore to return after her studies. After graduating, she worked at a design firm in Chester, England, before moving to Paris in 2020 to start her freelance illustration career. was born in Avignon, France in 2000 and lived his childhood in the parisian suburb of Romainville from the age of 3. In 2018 he decided to pursue a degree in architecture at École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versailles. His studies brought him to Japan for an internship, constructing structures for the Olympics in 2024 and soon to the Biannale in Venice in May of this year. Nuit Blanche, October 2021, Aleyna and Wesley met up with a group of friends to see a pretty terrible light show and get dinner after. It was their first time talking and they got on really well. Slowly they talked after church every Sunday, but it wasn’t until Wesley came around several times at the church Christmas celebration (and finally cut his long hair) that Aleyna realised he was interested, and she might be too. After the holidays they both began inviting each other to events with friends, game nights and brunch, and started texting when Wesley got covid. They promised to spend a day together right when he finished his two-week confinement. Their first date was 8 hours, 10km of walking, and a big bowl of ramen at the end.
Fast-forward to February 2024, two years after dating, Wesley surprised Aleyna with a trip to Tromsø, Norway. On a frozen lake, under the northern lights, he asked her to marry him. She said yes.
